Fully integrated production... At Ham Produce Company, we understand that quality begins in the field. In addition to conducting regular GAP and EUREP-GAP audits, we only use our own North Carolina Certified Seed Producers. This means that only the best seed stock is used in our greenhouses. Each winter, we propagate transplants from our seed stock to be used in the spring for the next year’s crop, making us fully integrated from the greenhouse to the packing line. Packing to meet your needs… Our, electronic, color packing lines are built using the latest in technology, ensuring that Ham Produce Company can meet your individual packing needs. Our packing lines sort by size, shape, weight and grade. In addition to our normal offerings, we are willing to custom pack to your specifications in both size and grade. Year-Round Availability… With over 3 million bushels of storage capacity, Ham Produce Company can supply you with quality sweet potatoes any time of the year. Our facility is equipped with state of the art controlled atmosphere storage, and we ship sweet potatoes daily to many locations throughout the U.S., ensuring our customers timely delivery of their product. Food Safety… Our grading facilities are certified by the United States Department of Agriculture, and undergo third party audits on an annual basis. We regularly achieve high scores in sanitation, documentation and food security. Furthermore, our trace-back program is second to none. Each case of product is lot coded and can be traced back to its original point of harvest in a matter of minutes. Customer Service… Ham Produce Company takes customer service very seriously.
